How to Buy Plush Toys?

Plush toys make great playmates for children. Being around these soft and cuddly toys, especially (animal figures) gives most children a feeling security and comfort. The best way to buy one for your child is to take him/her toy shopping with you. However, if for some reason you can't or want to surprise your little darling with a new cuddly playmate, remember to follow these guidelines-

A plush toy from a cartoon show, movie or video game that your child is fond of is sure to bring a smile on his/her face.

The size of the plush toy should depend on your child's personal preference and age. In general toddlers get scared of toys bigger than them in size, but slightly older children seem to like big toys.

A plush toy with sound will not only make an entertaining playmate but will also play an educational role. However, avoid buying such toys for 4-7 month olds, as they may get scared of sound emitting toys.

If your child has started going to school, animal plush toys with sound can act as excellent teaching aids. Not only will your child learn the names of animals and the sounds they make, you can also use these toys to teach your children the art of differentiating between colors and even make bedtime stories far more interesting and fun!

Plush toys, especially animal plush toys should look almost exactly like real animals; this will help your child identify them on TV and in the real world.

Finally, make sure that the toy is manufactured by a company with a good reputation.
