Top Toys 2010 - For Family Fun

Many people know how important it is for a child to wake up on Christmas morning to find that Santa answered their toy related desires. This year it is no different. Children love to have fun, and Christmas can be the most fun holiday of the year. This year, make Christmas a holiday that they will remember for years to come.

Paying attention to what one's child enjoys is the best way to make a holiday gift-giving decision. Girls are normally interested in dolls, games, and other related items, while boys prefer video games, action figures, and cars. Being in tune with a child's interests will ensure a great Christmas holiday. The following are suggestions of hot toys for both girls and boys this holiday season.

If one's family is of the game playing sort, there are many new games available for family fun time. For instance, there is a new game called Sort It Out that involves all players by having to sort out items in relation to their speed, size, and other factors. This game brings families together for a night of fun.

Another new variation on an old puzzle is now available. Rubik's Cubes, which have been popular for ages, has just been created for the new generation. Instead of having to turn the many sides of the cube, it is now made with state of the art touch screen technology to allow for easier play. Many kids will find this entertaining for hours as they try to master the cube.

For those families that enjoy the new generation of fitness inspired video games and consoles, there is now the PlayStation Move bundle with Sports Champion. In this game, there are six different sports to choose from, so there is sure to be a sport to satisfy everyone in the family. For instance, ping-pong, volleyball, and archery are included. Make family time active again.

A toy that was popular in childhood is gaining popularity once again. Lego has always been on top of creating unique play sets for all ages. Lego City Public Transport is their newest version, released in August of 2010. As with all Lego play sets, all pieces are interchangeable with other sets so one can build a menagerie if he or she desires.

This year, make Christmas especially memorable by purchasing gifts to bring the family together for family fun night. Make memories to last!
