What are your favorite kids' "toys for 2010?

Among all popularity contests the one that would be meaningful for kids would be where they are asked to vote for the best toys for 2010. Since there is no such contest being organized I thought I'd put up the stuff that little visitors at my online toy store have preferred. And so, the Miss Toys for 2010 finalists are...

Fantasma Legends of Magic DVD Set

It's obvious that there's magic in magic! Here's a kit with over 300 cool tricks and a 90 minute instructional DVD with bonus footage of Houdini and other great magicians. This award-winning magic set contains an enormous array of magical tools recommended for ages 7 and up. Its an ideal gift for kids who love to be one-up.

What's more, the quality of tricks is amazing... a magician's Illusion box which can vanish and produce objects, as well as transform one object into another! Also included are cups and balls, multiplying balls, the amazing money making machine, the Phantom deck of cards, the magic card box, the magical mystery box, the linking rings, the chain escape, and much more.

Carrera Ferrari Challenge Slot Car Race Set

Imagine you have 2 Ferrari race cars, transformer, 2 speed controllers, lap-counter straights, curves and a double loop... what would life be like? No wonder this is a winner, with its two authentically detailed Ferrari 599XX cars (scale 1:43).

Children aged 8 and up will enjoy the excitement as Turbo Power controllers send cars whizzing around a racetrack with a thrilling double loop. The set includes "Turbo Speed" controllers for added racing boost and an extensive variety of accessories to take thrills to a new level.

LeapFrog Leapster Explorer Camera and Video Recorder

For kids that are more into moving action, here's a digital camera and video recorder that stores up to 1,000 photos. 8 engaging activities encourage creative expression, explore emotions and help build skills with letters, numbers and shapes. What's more, kids can stretch, stamp and draw on pictures to personalize them, and turn them into tools to zap letters or numbers in fun learning activities. They can even unscramble picture puzzles, share favorite photos and use photos to tell a story or tell a different kind of story by shooting movies!

The camera attachment plugs directly into the bottom of the Explorer module, and a CD that comes with it helps install its software on your computer. The whole system is small enough to take on outings and the buttons on the game console are easy to figure out. Exactly what you would expect from the top toys for 2010!
